I recall Carbineers as a not quite to par combat class. How is the state of the profession here?

I think all the combat classes are pretty much equal to their pre-CU live versions
Erita - M.Artisan / M.Tailor / M.Weaponsmith
Dvilna - M.Scout / 0030 Ranger / M.Bio-Engineer / M.Creature Handler
Ssala - aspiring Commando / aspiring Smuggler / ???

So not so great for Carbineers or their melee equivalent of polearms, LOL!

Thanks for the heads up Arjeidi. I may still pick one to be on my crafter, he'll only need to clear out a few hostiles around harvesters etc.
