grinded 4x4x Powers. Totally wasn't worth it. Abilities take 300-500 force and are as slow as Jedi healing/not affected by force speed. Force intimidate 2 does not work. It only intimidates single target. Was on my way to Master but now I'll be dropping all of powers for now and try something else. Powers needs a good looking at someday

As a newly unlocked Jedi who wanted to go Master Powers (but now probably won't), please buff powers!

The complete tree is borked since 2004 mate - im fine with putting some powers skill into the frs as suggested (did you read my links?) and get rid of the tree as a whole.

Maybe deactivate the spec until it has been revoked to prevent others wasting their time? Is there on single powers user on the server? And if so, what did you drink?

if the force cost was reduced greatly for intimidate i can see some viable specs with it. everything else seems like a waste. Only reason I'd see someone with Master atm is with MLS and Force choke, the damage output wouldn't be too bad but the sacrificing of all the other useful abilities is

Powers, to me, is another source of dishing out damage and controlling other players by stating them, like sabers.....but it lacks the ability to dish out the damage and control players without using all of your force.

instead of disabling the powers tree you could change how each mechanic works.


    1.enable force speed to work with force powers and reduce the cool down for using them (lightning, choke, intimidate...etc..), or simply reduce the cool down as a whole for each one instead of having force speed work with it (this way might be easier to code).

    -i find it nearly useless to use lightning, force choke, or any other power on anything because of the amount of time it takes
    between actions after using them. reducing the time between next action after using a power would make it worthwhile in
    using them.

    2.reduce the cost of each force power.

    -intimidate, lightning, choke, and knockdown all consume a large amount of force when used...for force bar diminishes
    quickly.

    3.increase the PVE damage of force powers

    -i wouldn't suggest increasing the damage in PVP because reducing the cool down (as stated above) would make it
    overpowered.

    -obviously none of the NPC specific powers work..i don't really care for them anyway, so i wouldn't waste time trying to get them to work.

Here's how the abilities are currently working that I feel need a little more work on:

Mind Blast 2 damage is good, Force knockdown and the aoe intimidates all work nicely right now.

Force Weaken also working good.

States from lightning/mind blast could use a bump to longer durations. As it stands now if I mind blast + knockdown a target, the dizzy will fall off before I can get another ability off (all state debuffs are like this with powers) they last about 5 seconds which is very short

Duration between abilities feels long even with the lightning speed change and power cost is still high considering the damage they do and how slow between attacks they are

I know HK has patched the Choke so no comment for that one as of now, however the video is posted below

Force throw is very weak and the stun barely lands. Out of the 3 - Mind blast, lightning and force throw abilities, Mind blast is the only one worth using

All of the pet/npc abilities such as animal attack, animal calm, animal scare and jedi mind trick do not work
