Armor Revamp Info

You have no need for a Bone Armor? Only option is Composite Armor?

Those days are now gone :) Spend many happy hours at your local Armorsmith now.


Bone Armors:
A light and cheap armor.
Protection: Kinetic, Energy and Electricity (main).

Mabari (Zam):
A light, but solid Armor. Super Low Encumbrance and some protection.
Protection: Kinetic , Energy, Blast, Heat, Electricity and Cold.

Chitin Armor:
A solid starter armor, robust and good in melee combat.
This armor now has 1 additional Layer slot.
Protection: Kinetic (main) , Energy, Blast and Acid.

Ubese Armor:
A medium armor, with low encumbrance values.
This armor now has 1 additional Layer slot.
Protection: Kinetic (main) , Energy, Blast, Acid and Electricity.

Padded Armor:
A good compromise between encumbrance and protection.
Protection: Kinetic , Energy, Blast, Acid, Electricity and Cold.

Composite:
The good old fortress of steel.
Protection: Kinetic Energy, Blast, Acid, Electricity, Cold and Heat

The Layers now have a possibility to reach -1 encumbrance values.
Layers have a point more on second defense stat experimentation.
The max (experimentation) encumbrance values on the armors have been raised.
The min (experimentation) encumbrance values have been lowered.
The max (experimentation) on second stats have been raised (armors like Ubese, Chitin, Bone and Mabari) now have higher second and first values (% resist against damage type).


Low armors should be now useful, also the crafter can decide to craft armors with lesser protection but with better encumbrance values. The encumbrance will now scale a lot better with each experimentation point.
Crafters are able to now make armor sets with much lesser encumbrance, so that players can equip a complete armor set without buffs.

I was literally just looking for the armor changes and saw your post.

Can't wait to start making Cheap but Functional bone armor ;)

Will tantel armour get LS resist?
[[TCON] Galactic Shopping Mall now stocked with Fashion, Medium Harvester BER 16+, Fusion Generators BER 24, Factories, Pup's with 32.8%, Speed & Damage sliced weapons, Fresh foods, Droids, Swoops...We also have some open Vendor spots for hire....get in touch with Leya or Tekmo.

Just made a tantel helm with 25% ls resist. You Sneaky Devs.

we asked our armorsmith not to start a mass production, its a unwanted and not finished effect that sneaked in by accident.

Now the productions running ... and forces a Tantal Armor wipe. So before you sell more of that ... with the next patch the existing tantal armos / schematics/ creates will be vanishing in the black hole

I haven't had the time to fool around with the different armors and their protection strengths. Is Tantel fixed and still the best for protection against lightsaber damage?
